Eastern Saber Hilts

Description

The above are photos of our Eastern saber hilts with three different grip types. The example above is a Karabella grip mounted on our flat tanged blade. The top photo at the bottom is of a Turkic grip mounted on a flat tanged blade. The photo at the very bottom is a Persian shamshir grip on an Alchem light broadsword blade. These designs were common in Asia and Eastern Europe from the 13th century on and are made with white or black acetyl to simulate ivory or horn. Both the Alchem light broadsword and the Alchem flat tang blades may be ordered with a slight curve, 1″ or less of offset, at no additional charge. More curve may be added to our blades for an additional charge of $10. Either blade can be ordered in lengths from 30 to 38 inches. We also offer blades up to 34 inches long with a rounded 20mm diameter tip for HEMA and SCA armored combat with rebated steel blades. We can add a yelman at no extra charge. Persian blades generally did not include the yelman.
